I work with teens looking to be understood.
Being a teenager is NOT easy. Whoever said “Hold on to your youth” must not have remembered what is was like to be a teenager. The pressures of this time of life can feel beyond overwhelming: high school, friendships, drama, dating, building anxiety, isolation, depression, feeling like you don’t belong anywhere. These things don’t even complete the list, but to top it all off, there is dealing with the rules and expectations at home. Even when parents mean well, their attempts to guide are futile, resulting in additional stress on top of an already stressful stage of life.
I am passionate about working collaboratively with teens to help them not only survive, but thrive on their journey through adolescence. I see teens as some of the most courageous and inspiring people on our planet. I see them as an unstoppable force, capable of changing the world and making it a better place. It is my goal to help teens navigate this part of life and the issues that come with it, from understanding himself or herself, to building stronger and more fulfilling relationships.
